Our Story
How Mountain Springs Family Campground came to be.

A Family Campground in the Blue Ridge
Mountain Springs Family Campground started with a simple idea: that the best part of camping is what happens when families step away from the everyday and into the mountains. The campfires. The kids running off to find a creek. The marshmallows finally coming out. The quiet mornings on the porch with a cup of coffee and the whole day ahead.
Owner John and his family fell for this 70-acre piece of the Blue Ridge for the same reason most folks visit: it's the kind of mountain land that begs to be explored. A creek runs through it. There's a pond for swimming, a hilltop overlook with sweeping ridge views, and acres of forest for trails and adventures. They knew right away they wanted to share it with other families.
So they built Mountain Springs the way they'd want to camp themselves — family-focused, full of mountain character, and rooted in the land. Today's campground is just the beginning. New cabins, dedicated trails, gathering spaces, and more are on the way as Mountain Springs grows. But the heart of the place is the same as it was on day one: a family campground in the Blue Ridge mountains where great memories get made.
